DESCRIPTION
The Belmont Mansion crew came to us asking for a bit of detective pattern restoration. The directive was to fill in an 11 inch gap missing from the 1860’s French Baroque wallpaper pattern remnants found in the bookshelf of the original installation. Then, additional challenge was to reproduce the paper as closely to the original as possible. While the budget didn’t allow for real gold leafing, the experts at @custhom were able to print this design using gold foil and matching the period appropriate background color to create the Napoleonic colorway.
