The Happy Hour

PROJECT:

Custom Ceiling Mural Design
Custom Wallcovering Panels for collapsible room divider

LOCATION:

Nashville, TN

MATERIALS:

Digitally Printed Wallcovering | Murals executed by I Saw the Sign

DESCRIPTION:

For the mental wellness studio, The Happy Hour, we designed multiple surface treatments that tie together their interiors and brand identity. To increase the main floor’s functionality, the design team included a central wall of five sliding panels that span the length of the room when opened, creating two spaces, and retract completely should guests need to use the entire room. We created custom wallcovering panels that were fitted within the five bays so that they read as a wall of “windows” — each one a distinct composition of dappled light and shadow on a sky blue background. We complemented the soft tranquility of the panels with crisp, large scale ceiling murals on each side of the collapsible wall and under the exterior canopy. Contemplation, harmony and transformation were the guiding principles throughout our design process.
